Piya and his family were excellent hosts. They gave us space and comfort, they were very kind and helpful. They organized everything what came to our mind. He also showed us interesting places in the area which are not shown on the internet - you have to be a local to know them. The food was delicious and in big portions, and everyday we ate something new. We will definitely visit this place if we are ever again in Sri Lanka. Place is away from a main road which is an advantage and disadvantage - this means the place is very quiet and calm. There are shops with essentials like water and toothpaste very close. But if something is needed - you can get a tuktuk or a bike. There are really friendly people in the area. We felt very welcomed.

This tent has a view. It has separate washing and showering area without hot water facility. It's a hidden gem inside the jungle in Habarana/Sigiriya area. Even though a little gloomy and showing their age the rooms are spacious and well appointed. The furniture is made of solid wood. The bathroom is large and well equipped. The guests should park their vehicles at the car park near the gate from where they are taken in electric carts. The food served at the restaurant is delicious. There are enough walking pathways inside the hotel land as well as outside in the villages. However, don't venture out early in the morning and the evening especially alone since there can be an occasional elephant in the vicinity.
