We had the pleasure of staying at their newest tent (they currently have 3 of them and some lodges). The tent is very large offers everything you need, there’s a fan, lots of wall sockets, two beds, water cooker and a bathroom attached. There’s no warm water, but you will need the cool shower :) the climate is always hot and humid. Sleeping in the tent at night with the blinds open was very comfortable. Also, there’s lots of peacocks around, it is a joy to watch them from the tent. They recently completed a new area for breakfast which looks fantastic and is very spacious. Everything around the place felt very high-class, which we did not expect, especially at this price point. The staff was extremely attentive and adjusted to your needs (e.g. breakfast time for safari). We felt like in a 5-star hotel :)

The experience feels very special, authentic to the local area, and not flashy. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind and genuine. They went the extra mile at every turn. The plunge pool outside our tent was such a refreshing and welcome feature. We loved the breakfast and meals, and had such a memorable stay that our family won’t forget! Special mention to Bandara and his team for wonderful hospitality and food. Big thanks and kudos to our leopard spotting guide Dinesh (spelling?) and our super safe driver/guide. We had a wonderful trip to Yala National park and Tribe Yala made the whole experience even more memorable.

They immediately treated us like friends and taught us about the animals, food, and culture. It is extremely clean throughout the campsite and no worries about the heat! There is an air conditioner in the tent! the food was fantastic with generous portions. it was a wonderful experience!

Friendly staff and the best service.

Fantastic experiences with amazing staff team. I admire their professionalism, especially when paying attention onto the details. Definitely a recommendation to any experienced travelers.

A recently renovated luxury tent set in Tissamaharama, Yala Wild Hut - Yala features a garden. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. The wild Hut is as the name says in the middle of jungle. There is just two huts so you feel like really being in the wild with all animals surrounding you. Amazing staff and facilities. Clean rooms and food was so good.

Situated in Tanamalwila, 34 km from Udawalawe National Park and 26 km from Tissa Wewa, Thanamal-villa features accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden with a barbecue. Best homestay I’ve stayed in during my 3 months of SE Asia travel. Location was ideal, activities were unbelievable, and the most hospitable hosts imaginable. I will be telling all of my fellow travelers to stay here for a long time to come. Make sure to book their safari. We were lucky enough to have a leopard walk 10ft in front of us and watch a baby elephant and its mom. Although, it still would have been beautiful without seeing any animals. The host mother made us the best curry spread we will probably ever eat for as long as we live.

Set in Yala, 42 km from Situlpawwa, Flameback Eco Lodge features concierge services and free WiFi. Each accommodation at the 5-star hotel has lake views, and guests can enjoy access to an outdoor infinity pool. Local and American dishes are served at the in-house restaurant. We booked the honeymoon suite which was spacious and clean. The best part was the monkeys that love to come and visit . The staff went all out with an evening bonfire and cocktails by the lake . The pool is a great size to go for a proper swim . They have a great spa which is elevated amoungst the trees . I had a fabulous foot massage. ❤️
