Mahmood, the owner is a rare, wonderful personality: gentle, intelligent, proactive, well informed, with a growth mindset. You get much more than a hostel bed, if you only can see and appreciate it. My main reason for staying in this hostel was hiking to the peak of Jebel Shams and Mahmood made it possible, really caring that I am well prepared. Well equipped shared spaces: spacious seating area, big table fitting all the guests, books and tourist information in various languages, traditional clothes that you can try on and wear for a dinner out, frankincense aroma...

This accommodation is exceptional in providing absolute privacy as it is a private dome tent at the up end of the road, secluded from other properties. The place has AC, comfortable bed, indoor and outdoor seating to watch sunrise, private bathroom, refrigerator and kettle to make tea or coffee, and there is a private parking. From the tent there is an amazing view on the W6 balcony walk and to the canyon/valley. The accommodation also offer amazing home-made cooked breakfast and dinner with an option to eat at nearby cafe or in the tent.
