The best thing about the hotel is its location right in the middle of the alps in Bernina with vast spread of deep snow all around even in end May. The bernina trains from Tirano to St Moritz take you there. We booked apartment which had 3 bedrooms and a hall. Centrally heated. We used Sauna facility. Pick up and drop was provided from Diavolezza station, although it would be fun and adventurous to walk from Ospizio to hotel, but we had luggage and little kids. Breakfast was good but limited. Check in check out were smooth. Absolute value for money.

The room ammenities were modern and plentiful, with large tv, tv in the bathroom, large bed, coffee machine and huge cupboards for your clothes, etc. The staff were very nice and helpful and breakfast was plentiful.

Everything! This family hotel is fantastic. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. The service was highly personalised. Breakfast was tasty. The rooms were nice, clean, and cosy. The spa facilities of the neighbouring Walther Hotel were lovely. They even provided a dog bed, bowls, and treats. I very much recommend staying here.

A classical 5-star experience. The staff were amazingly friendly and did their best to make you feel at home. The view from the room was breathtaking. We have been coming to this small hotel for over forty years and have never been disappointed. Quality of service and facilities has always been very good to excellent, prices are reasonable, rooms are nice and clean, complementary breakfast is superb and having an excellent restaurant / pizzeria in house means you don't have to go anywhere else in the evenings. Being right across from the train station (which is not overly busy) is always a major draw for us. You simply don't need a car to get around from here.
