Ledio and his parents Toni and Aphrodite were really really lovely people. Ledio wasn't there but his parents were so friendly, offering tea and coffee each day and chatting to us. They also made dinner for 7€ each, which was really delicious, the breakfast was amazing too! Of course some aspects were basic, but if you don't need luxury then I would recommend this place to everybody

Everything was great. Tasty breakfast, clean room and bathroom. Great views from inside and all around outside of the building. Really kind and helpful staff. Lovely coffee :) Great localisation - when you walk from Theth to Valbona you can find Hysa at the very beginning of Valbona village :)

We booked a hut with twin beds and private toilet. They prepared us lunch even if we arrive at 16:00. Dinner and breakfast is on a shared table with other guests so you can talk with other people and share the experiences of the PoB trail. The hut was confortable with every detail but the bes was the homemade food.

Our stay at Bujtina Malaj was fantastic. It was a very cozy place, perfectly located to start our hike from Valbona to Theth the next day. Situated in a very picturesque mountainous area, the landscapes were beautiful. Although this guesthouse doesn't have a restaurant for lunch or dinner, there is another guesthouse nearby, just a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast included in our stay was delicious! The owner was very friendly and made us feel at home. He provided us with great support and directions for our route, and even prepared a sandwich for our excursion. Without a doubt, we recommend this place 100%!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The garden was absolutely beautiful, so peaceful and well-kept, it really added to the charm of the place. The food was amazing, full of flavor and made with care. It’s the perfect spot for hikers, with great trails nearby and a relaxing atmosphere to come back to. Highly recommended!

Valbona is breathtaking. The house is next to a meadow oasis in the middle of the valley. The room was perfect, clean and cosy with an incredible look at the mountains. The breakfast was excellent, made of their products, served in the garden or in their dining room. Selimaj's sons floently communicate in English. We also had lunch/dinner with them and it was excellent; domestic food prepared by the mother of the family. It is an excellent starting point for many hikes in the valley and to the mountains above.
