Very friendly staff who made sure everything was good. The food was excellent, with the meat being cooked on the big open fire outside the restaurant. Incredible views over the lake. We came here on a cycling trip and it was fine to leave the bikes outside the rooms

We had the most amazing stay at Mountain Oasis in Valbonë, Albania! This place is an absolute gem tucked away in the stunning northern region. From the moment we arrived, we was greeted by the warmest hosts and felt right at home. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable (this said by a “Monica clean” kind of person - if you’ve seen “Friends”, you’ll know it 😅). The surroundings were a nature lover's dream come true! With tall trees and a serene river nearby, the peaceful atmosphere was incredibly refreshing. Breathing in the fresh air while taking in the beauty of the landscape was such a calming experience. As the name suggests, it was a real Oasis - a true haven of tranquility and beauty. Moreover, the hosts kindly offered us directions and recommendations for nearby places to visit and dine, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. The breakfast was a true delight with a variety of homemade bio products that added a special touch to our morning. We cannot emphasize enough how much we loved every moment of our stay at Mountain Oasis. It's a place where you can truly escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in nature's wonders. If you're looking for a perfect getaway with excellent hospitality, we highly recommend this hidden gem in northern Albania. It truly deserves all the five stars!

Amazing place with the most generous family running it. We only stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The place is located alongside a few other guest houses in Shala river, which is absolutely beautiful. Food, which is cooked by the mother and one of the sisters, is also amazing.

What a beautiful place! You can really see how much hard work has gone into creating this accommodation, and it was so special hearing about their journey so far and the exciting plans still to come. We originally came to see Shala River (just a 5 min free boat ride away) but we actually enjoyed Komani Lake more! The water is a comfortable temperature to swim in and the surroundings are stunning. The free breakfast was fresh and delicious and we also had dinner (pork, fried vegetables and potatoes), which was so delicious too. Having free kayaks, sunbeds, and the shuttle service to Shala River made our stay even better. Alex is such a wonderful host, so kind and welcoming 😊 This was such a memorable experience, and we’re so glad we chose to stay here. Highly recommend!

The Eagles Land is an amazing place to discover the Shala River! The room was very nice and the staff was super kind and accommodating. Miri made our stay there extraordinary by being the most open hearted host! We recommend this place for sure!
