I had a wonderful stay. Renato, the host, is always available to assist you in everything he can. I stayed for one night and set base for the Theth hike leaving my bigger luggage at the guesthouse (I only took a smaller backpack with me). After a couple of days I came back to pick up that luggage and stayed an extra night since Shkoder is a beautiful place to visit. My room was very comfortable and the guesthouse has a nice patio to chill out.

This is a newly renovated room is spotless Condition. Niko and his wife were very accommodating and offered help to me several times. Close to bus stop for onward travel and arrival. Coffee maker and kettle provided in common area. Dressing gown and slippers also provided. TV was a smart tv and worked well for Netflix etc. my room had a balcony. Shared bathroom worked well. 2 bathrooms to 4 rooms. I would stay here again. Everything was perfect. 👌

This is the ‘gold standard’ of guesthouses in Albania. We stayed for two nights and were treated with so much kindness we felt like family. The owners (and their three boys) are such caring people ( and the cute dog). The room itself is modern and sparkling clean, the breakfasts are delicious and varied and you can easily walk down to the delightful town by the river for meals or a leisurely coffee in one of the many outdoor cafes.
