The guesthouse is within the castle walls, but hidden away down cobbled alleyways. This is not a problem as the owner meets you at the castle gate and helps to carry your luggage to and from the guesthouse. The owner and his wife are incredibly hospitable, friendly and helpful - nothing is too much bother. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, the breakfast is delicious and as the weather was fine, we ate in the pretty garden, but there is also a sitting area inside. We learnt about the history of the house, which helped to make our stay in Kruja special! Thank you!

I liked how clean the property looked. The staff were so helpful and nice. One of the family members even helped us by dropping us at the airport as she said she wanted to go to the city centre as well. We felt so grateful for that.

View from the terrace is beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. A really nice stay. You can get food there that the owner cooks, and it looked very nice. We didnt have any because we had food in centre.

Me and my family stayed at Freske rooms for 1 night. The rooms & city view from balcony and breakfast were good - staying was perfect. I will do my best visiting there once again. Owners were very nice, polite and responsive.

Our flight was at 3a.m. and owner waited for us during night- with very warm and welcoming attitude. We had rich breakfast and in evening we enjoyed tasty home-made pizza. Also when we had problem - we had flat tyre - owner took us to car service, so this problem was solved very fast and we could continue our trip as planned.

Had a great stay at Elona's room. Elona and her husband Enea are definitely great people, always here to help, guide you. Managed to get my clothes washed as they linked with a potential future partner to have stuff done for you. Enea - despite not speaking English is also a great guy - got a fresh haircut (his barbershop is right around the corner), always very helpfull. We stayed 4 nights and managed to get a nice cake made by Elona herself (well, only got pieces of it as my kids were very happy to eat it J). Would definitely recomend people to stay at Elona's rooms and wish them both the best 😊

When we arrived we were met outside the entrance which was a nice touch. The dinner and breakfast had a nice local touch and tasted truly home-made. The service at dinner and breakfast was friendly, fast and professional. And the location inside the castle grounds was something extra, with a fantastic view all the way to the sea.
