To be honest, I was surprised how the place is luxury and comfortable (the pictures in booking don’t show the actual status of the house) it’s just amazing. Would definitely recommend it.

The owners are very friendly and they love animals. Our dog was also welcome in the breakfast room.
The breakfast was very delicious and had a lot of variety and options.

We loved our night in Albach, after a busy few days we were keen for a quiet night in a small Austrian village and this place did not disappoint. The very friendly British lady (sorry I can’t remember your name) who checked us in looked after us well recommending walks, chatting to us over dinner and in the pub and even getting her partner to help us plan our drive routes for the following days. The restaurant and pub onsite were fab! The snitchel was delicious and my partner enjoyed watching the RWC with locals over a few beers. 10/10 would come back.

We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect
