Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant. We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

Clean apartment in an older, alpine style. The staff are very nice and helpful. Good breakfast. Beautiful and quiet surroundings. We only stayed one night on our way from Italy to Poland.

The property was very homely and the family looked after us very well. The showers weee excellent and the boot room was a great place to dry out gear out at the end of each day. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be back.

Breakfast is amazing, delicious and prepared in a fancy way with traditional details. The SMELL of the cozy guest house is unbelievable, fragrances surrounded you every where.Stunning view. Super clean. Garden is beautiful. And Manuela and her husband Andereas are so nice. To be honest, I was surprised how the place is luxury and comfortable (the pictures in booking don’t show the actual status of the house) it’s just amazing. Would definitely recommend it.

Everything was perfect. The area is very nice and quiet. It also offers a lot of hiking options in summer The owners are very friendly and they love animals. Cute and clean room in a traditional Austrian chalet! We loved our night in Albach, after a busy few days we were keen for a quiet night in a small Austrian village and this place did not disappoint. The very friendly British lady (sorry I can’t remember your name) who checked us in looked after us well recommending walks, chatting to us over dinner and in the pub and even getting her partner to help us plan our drive routes for the following days. The restaurant and pub onsite were fab! The snitchel was delicious and my partner enjoyed watching the RWC with locals over a few beers. 10/10 would come back.

Traveled with a group of friends to ski in the area. Considering it's fairly affordable price, the place was exceptional! We had a nice little kitchen in our room, large comfortable beds and shower, and a great view of the mountains. Moreover, the hotel had a really nice common room with a sauna that we could use for free! Finally, the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. They ordered ski buss for us, went out of their way to welcome us during the check in, and provided a lot of helpful tips about the area. In summary, for its price, it's probably the best hotel in the area and you can't go wrong with staying there.
