Such a lovely lttle flat and so conveniently located right in the middle of Sydney. The flat is on the bottom floor of the dwelling and effectively independant from the main house with it's own key issued to you on arrival. The flat itself was tastefully decorated and felt very homely. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom is generous in size and well appointed. The little courtyard view from the bed is a nice little touch too. My host, Sue, was very pleasant to deal with. From her initial contact with me to confirm my booking until my departure, I was made to fell very welcome but not intruded upon and everything was done very efficiently and with a minimum of fuss. Nearby, there is a small village-like shopping precinct in the neighbouring suburb of Kirribilly, which is just a 10 minute walk away. There is a pub, some cafes & restaurants and also a pharmacy. So if you don't feel like slogging all the way into the CBD, you still have everything you need just nearby. Also a 10 minute walk away from the flat are Milsons Point station in one direction and North Sydney railway station in the other, with trains delivering you into the CBD in a matter of minutes. If you're feeling fit and it's a sunny day, you can also just walk strainght across the Harbour Bridge to The Rocks precinct. So if you enjoy the hustle of the CBD but then want to escape to a little oasis at the end of the day, this is the spot!
