Guest Houses in Pingyao

This is a superb old guest house within the city walls, has a traditional and very comfortable room and a very nice courtyard. Everything in the room worked perfectly. Our host was very helpful in all respects and was able to sort out an additional night when our train was cancelled. It is located 10 mins from the north gate and 10 mins from all the ancient city attractions. Highly recommended and great value.

Super friendly and helpful hosts. Guesthouse is in a quiet location only a short walk to the old city. Several delicious breakfast options available at reasonable prices.

The restaurant food was actually really great, although the "free breakfast" was just a toast with a runny egg and a couple of dumpling reheated in the microwave. Its an overall quite cheap hostel.

The location was perfect, right in the city center of the ancient city wall. The room was nice and spacious. The hosts are extremely nice and speak very good English. I would definitely recommend it!

Nice central location. Courtyard hotel with lots of character. English speaking hosts. Cheap meals on site. Arranged a safe and reliable driver to Mianshan mountain for a day trip.

The hotel has wonderful decor and atmosphere. We loved sitting in the lovely courtyard balcony with a cool drink after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is in a quieter side street, which is ideal for peaceful sleep but only a few mins from the busier part of the old town. The host was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. We were running late for our train and he graciously took us to nearby taxi rank on his scooter - with a smile. Lovely Pingyao and lovely hotel!

Room was quiet and clean, and host was really helpful. the host help us buy the Pingyao performance ticket and help store our luggage after checkout.
