For the amount you pay this is such a great place. Was way nicer, quieter and better than a more expensive hotel we stayed in before and 1/3 of the price. Staff was wonderful and the rooftop jaccuzi is great.

Perfect little appartment to discover Medellin. The staff is just amazing. There is a wonderful rooftop deck with stunning views and it's close to the floresta metro station, restaurants and shops. If you fancy a good night's sleep, it's quiet at night, a luxury in Medellin. The shower had plenty of hot water.

The hostel was very comfortable and well located but above all, it's the kindness of Juan Esteban, the owner, who made my stay special. He is very helpful and available and gives great advice to help his guests. The accommodation is very good especially for its price. I totally recommend.

Excellent place! In the middle of the nature. Many animals/birds coming in the morning. The owner is a very good chef/cook and makes delicious breakfast/dinner. The refugio is very close to the mirador/viewpoint (just 5min walking). Great place to calm down, have some great peaceful time in the nature

Ricardo is a fantastic host. Allowed me to check in early since my bed was available. Throughout my stay, I constantly noticed him taking care of the hostel, and the facilities were always clean; you can see he cares a lot about it. I stayed in the 5-bed dorm, which didn’t have a toilet inside the room. There is one shared toilet with a shower, and in case one is occupied, we can always use the one in the 6-bed dorm. The bed is slightly hard, but I spelt super good. The curtains in each bed allow for more privacy and to block the light. The hostel is full of little details that make your life easier, like a reading light for each bed and power adaptors. The location is super close to the metro to Comuna 13 and very chill.
