We loved staying in Smile Jungle Hostel, from the first minute to the last. Gonzalo is an amazing host and this was our favourite accommodation in Central America. The place was great, beautiful, well decorated and very maintained. We had everything we needed and more. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of and all like new! It sure is and by far, the best place we've been in Costa Rica. Tom was wonderful, so helpful and always there to assist. We've been there for only two nights and wish we could spend there a lot more. The bakery beneath the hotel is super delicious and great as well. Thank you very very much for the wonderful stay.

Lovely place, beautiful guesthouse with very kind and helpful hosts. Perfect location by Playa Negra. Nice garden, hammocks on the shared wrap around upper veranda. Very clean and serene. Nice touches like a shared refrigerator and coffee maker. Excellent value. Would definitely recommend and will absolutely return!
