super chill and relaxing, easy to borrow bike and the beach is near to the location :)!

Hammocks, garden with palms and a helpful staff make the atmosphere very nice. The free coffee and fruits for breakfast were great. And the bikes we rented in the hostel were helpful to explore the waterfall and the beaches such as for buying things to cook in the well equipped kitchen

It was nice to have a kitchen and the plates/utensils/etc. were well stocked. The location was fantastic, very short walk to the beach. 10-15 minutes? And you are in a quiet area, there's a river and so much wildlife that you can just stare at while you enjoy a meal. Everyone who was staying here was very kind and it was easy to socialize which I find important as a solo traveler. Naturally, this will depend on the group that you get during your travels. There is a workout area, which could be nice. It's minimal but it's better than nothing if you'd like to work out. There's a restaurant that's run as part of the hostel. If you pay cash, you get a small discount as a traveler staying at the hostel. The room I was in had a shelf and drawers to be split among the travelers (1 shelf and ~1 drawer each), which I found to be sufficient and nice. The patio provides a place to dry clothes. There is no AC but there is a fan. I was always comfortable sleeping. It takes a long time for anything to dry here so consider packing clothing that is quick dry. Also, thanks to the humidity on the coast of Costa Rica, it's quite difficult to wear long layers as I typically do while traveling - so as a non-related hotel note I would consider this as you pack and maybe pack more shorts (I only had one pair and regretted it). The staff are incredibly helpful and willing to help you with your planning and the questions you may have about your travels. Sheets are changed daily. I really liked it here and would stay again. I think the value is great for the price. As a reminder for the things I forgot...1 - there are lockers, bring a lock to lock up valuables. 2 -soap/shampoo are not provided for showering, so be sure to bring your own! (And as a note to humidity, bottles of soap/shampoo are better as my soap bar would not dry in my time in Costa Rica) 3 -Towel is not provided, bring your own or be prepared to spend $1 a day to rent

We stayed 5 nights! And we hade a great time here! The owner Tana is a great person, she is social friendly, kind and she did her best to give everyone the best time here! (P.S) here dog Sophie is lovely aswell! Ask Tana for information around here, she arranged a good wildlife expert for us during our stay. The kitchen includes everything you need. Her garden is full of plants, there are flowers and she has the jungle next to here accommodation! We saw and photographed Toucans there Kolibries and other wonderful wildlife. The location is good because it’s far enough from the main road, so its relaxed during day and night! We would book this accommodation again!

beautiful hotel, elegant rooms, perfectly cleaned, well-kept and relaxing garden with swimming pool, friendly and kind staff. Everything was perfect, I really enjoyed the travel

Amazing place! The pool is surrounded by beautiful nature, the outdoor kitchen is amazing and the shower is outdoor and full of plants! There are many areas to hangout, also a little rooftop to watch the stars at night. The room is obviously small but it's cozy.

Very nice private accomodation with large rooms, comfortable beds and your own fridge. The shared kitchen and dining area are very well equipped and beautiful. You also have a great view from the balcony. The owner is very friendly and helps you with lot of recommendations about places to visit in the area. We felt very comfortable :)

just one word - WOW !!! the most amazing stay with the most amazing host’s. The breafast, the view, the “warm feeling” and so helpfull…. Just WOW

Lovely hosts, peaceful and clean pool area, great room with a nice outdoor space. Close to restaurants and supermarkets. Tip: breakfast at Hotel Daleese!
