Best location in Bamberg. Excellent breskfast. We got a solid big room and toilette. Very good price especially in Christmass markt time. Yes if you have heavy luggage be ready to take it one floor over narrow stairs and the rooms could have newer furniture (but the furniture is no way critically old) , but that is minor compared to positives. I booked here because Nuernberg was too expensive in Christmass-time, but it ended uncomparably better than anything I could imagine in Nuerberg. After 22h it was also quiet.

The property is very cozy and the interiors of the old building have been restored really nicely. The location of the property is very good, hidden in the small streets of Bamberg, only a short few minutes walk away from the old city centre and plenty of nice things to see and many restaurants and bars to visit. In the small (shared) kitchen on the ground floor the guests have the possibility to prepare breakfast, coffee etc. for themselves.

The hotel is further away from Bamberg, but that's what we liked. The hotel is located in a quiet area, 30 minutes walk into Bamberg through a beautiful wooded park. If you want to drive in, you can get there in a few minutes, but there is also a bus service that stops near the hotel. Free parking is available. The wifi worked well and was fast. One of the best places we've ever stayed in. My wife walks with crutches, and we were immediately offered a room with lift access and improved comfort. Thanks to the very welcoming staff.
