The location was fine for me, as I didn't mind the pleasant 15 minute walk down to the town and it was beautifully quiet. The room was simple but very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Breakfast was good, in a pleasant room with delightfully friendly staff.

The owner was very friendly, we received really warm welcome and as a bonus, we were told to check out late if we needed to sleep in free of charge, which we did after a week on the road. Room and everything was lovely. The restaurant has good basic German fare on the menu but we were too late for it. They made a snack for us rather than having to go out to the town. Breakfast was superb. Wine was available from a fridge in the dining room. The bedroom was great - large, airy with a full table for working from or for making a drink from the provided tea and coffee making tray. There was a terrace with comfortable table chairs and couch overlooking the courtyard.
