The property is beautiful and located on the trail. it’s a perfect place to rest and use as a base for Saxon Switzerland national park trip. The staff is super nice and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. i recommend coming with car and bringing some snacks if coming off season. The rooms were clean, comfortable, beautiful and very warm (in a good way in November)

We were in the area to do some hiking and exploring and the hotel is positioned very well for this. We had an awesome time at the pension. The breakfast is a great variety (I'm gluten intolerant and managed to find options) to eat. I really enjoyed my 3 quarter sized bed (some places give you a single bed).

Excellent place to stay in Bad Schandau, very comfortable, homely and has all facilities, including a common kitchen which we used every day for making breakfast and heating food that we had carried with us. Well kept outside area and play facilities for kids. We all enjoyed our stay and had a good time.

Very relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed time in the backyard with a cold beer after a long hike - exactly what we needed!! Not a fancy place, a bit dated, but enjoyable and comfortable. Lots of 80's decor in an old mansion. Very clean. Super friendly, chill hosts. Good breakfast too. Very quiet at night and a perfect location for hiking the Malerweg!
