Breakfast was quite adequate. Coffee tea bread juices meats cheeses jams madelaines, etc. Access to microwave and fridge/freezer. Shower has good water flow. Bed comfortable. Black out curtains. Quiet street. Very nice hostess. Very clean premises.

Great location, great views. Everything needed was available to us. TV, beds, bathroom, towels, all necessities were avilable. The pool and the terrace are incredible. Clean, with amazing views. The hosts were the nicest people, and always readily available in case we had any issues.

The town and the hotel are full of character. While you might not realize it when you're there, the town is perched on a cliff - great for keeping invaders at bay. We appreciated that fact when we took a beautiful hot air balloon ride the next morning and looked down on our abode. The room was clean and comfortable - just what we wanted. We ate dinner there and it was excellent.

This guest house has a beautiful location at the foot of the Montsacopa Volcano. Set on a hill, Hostal Sant Bernat offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Nice staff, showed map of what to see in the city etc. Clean, very nice view from the balcony. The room was spacy (had extra single bed)

We stayed for 2 nights and couldn’t fault the hotel at all, it was spotlessly clean and the food is excellent. If you find yourself in this area then you really must call in for lunch or dinner, you will be made so welcome! La Vajol is a lovely peaceful little village with lots of history dating back to the civil war, ideal for a 1 or 2 nights stay.

Beautiful traditional farmhouse in idyllic location. Perfect if you wish to escape from busy life for a few days and value peace and tranquility and wish to experience a more natural, ‘basic’ way of living. It is recommended that you have a car as travel on public transport from Besalu is not straight forward and can be expensive. Sadly we had to leave early and unexpectedly. The staff were extremely helpful in assisting us.
