Last year, I said I'd stay here again if I were in Aberdeen again. That's exactly what I did, and I'll stay here again next year. Why? The guesthouse is ideally located near the bus/train station and ferry. Check-in was very accommodating, Neil is a friendly host, and the accommodation is comfortable and clean. In short: I'll be back.

We really loved John's place. He was so kind and friendly and everything was so clean and the room spacious and well-organized. Also the breakfast was really tasty and had several options. Good position for the city centre, just 10 min walking.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, allowing free bag storage after checkout. Room was clean and comfortable-- perfect amount of space for one person, with a shower and sink even in the non-ensuite room. Complimentary breakfast was a nice touch.

I can highly recommend to stay at the Royal Crown Guest House. The rooms are nice, well equipped, the bathroom and facilities are very clean. The location is amazing, just a 5 minute walk from the station or Union Street. Scot, the owner, is great - incredible helpful with all kind of wishes and also gives you good recommendations if needed. I will definitely come back next time to stay here when in Aberdeen.
