Amazing building, just few steps away from train station and shops/restaurants. Great hosts, very warm and welcoming, made our stay very comfortable and cosy. Very nice rooms and vig comfortable bed, room had everything you need and even more, including complimentary hot chocolate and biscuits. Would definitely stay again!

Nick and Ceri were outstanding hosts! I had a great conversation with Nick—he was incredibly helpful in recommending excellent birding spots and guiding me toward my target species. It was a real pleasure to meet a fellow naturalist who shares the same level of enthusiasm. Nick even left us a map and a thoughtful note to help us out—such a kind gesture. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Ardlogie looks quite unassuming from the street, but once you walk thru the gate, you’re treated to a lively garden, home to chickens and pheasants (the chickens’ eggs provide you with a great breakfast), fruit trees, flowers. The home is warm, welcoming and completely unassuming—a perfect place to settle in and relax after an active day…or simple relax, read, nap and feel no pressure to do anything but “be.” (Just what we needed at the time.) The rooms are cozy and super comfortable with sweet views of the garden. And the shower is fantastic! Ardlogie is perfectly located for simple access to the restaurants, activities and facilities in Aviemore. And it’s close to many hiking trails and within driving distance to great historical sites including the Culloden Battlefield and the Clava Cairns. The breakfast menu is extensive and every meal is prepared individually. The food is superb, quite simply the best breakfasts we’ve had (and we always stay in B&Bs—not Airbnb.) I’ve saved the best for last: Kirstie and Kevin. They are five stars out of five. They’re fun, funny, friendly and the warmest people you’d be lucky enough to encounter—simply the best hosts ever. Their knowledge of the area and their joy at sharing suggestions are unparalleled. If you are lucky enough to find lodging at Ardlogie (and I suggest that as soon as you have your dates, reserve your room) you’re are in for a wonderful time.

Lovely house in the heart of beautiful nature. The interior, the garden, everything is done with taste and close attention to the smallest detail. Extremely clean and comfortable. We spent three nights at this amazing guesthouse, and it was a truly delightful experience. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly clean. It really felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. Every morning, we could choose from an extensive menu, allowing us to try something different each day. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. She provided us with many useful tips about the local area, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The shared living room and garden were also great additions, giving us a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Moreover, the location was perfect—centrally located, making it easy to access all the attractions and activities in the area. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay. We will definitely return if we're in the area again! ---
