The room was clean and cosy. Equipped with everything you need. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, the best I've had at a B&B. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming too. The owner was nice enough to allow us to self-check in at a later time than the usual check-in times. The view of the mountains out the room window was beautiful. Very convenient location, too.

Close to both Kingussie Golf Club and Ruthven Barracks, Avondale House is situated in Kingussie and has spa facilities and garden.

The host was very sympathetic and nice. The room was so comfortable (amazing bed), quiet, beautiful and well equiped. The breakfast was very generous and delicious. We even had vegan and gluten free goodies in the room. There is a great sense of detail.

Owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The owners were really interesting and as a result we stayed up late chatting with them and also noticed how attentive they were to the other guests’ needs.
