Extremely accomodating for us, staff were amazing, great communication, we arrived very late so they made it clear how to access the property, allowed us to check out later the next day. The room and bed were very comfortable. Short downhill walk to city centre. Breakfast was also really good. We travel extensivley and would recommend this boutique hotel and would stay again.

Chris’ (owner) accommodation is really nice, as well as his assistance with anything you need: from touristic tips until parking support. The location, although not central, is easy to reach: 5 stops to the city center with any bus and just 8-9£ with a taxi on the way back (20-25 min walking if you prefer, but have in mind you would be walking up a hill in the way back) The house, cottage looking, is eye catching. The rooms are big and comfortable (we rented 2 doubles). The bath is really spacious and the quality of both bedclothes and towels was high. We did not take any breakfast, but it looked amazing: coffee, fruits, cereal; more than enough. I rarely give a 10 to an accommodation but this one has definitely earned it. No surprise, as Chris is an 20 year experienced hotel man. Happy to come back next time.
