The room was beautifully done, attention to detail was lovely. The outdoor space was great and the bed and bedding were superb. Also the location was perfect, quiet but a very short walk to town centre, less than 10 mins. Perfect. Would definitely go back.

The room was really confortable and quite luxurious. The bed was very confortable and the bathroom very design. The host was also very welcoming. We had a parking space. We had dinner at the café one which we loved as well. There is no breakfast but you can have water, coffee and tea in the room which was very convenient.

Very friendly and welcoming. Chris helped us already with the preparation of our trip, recommend restaurants (which we booked and enjoyed), and was always there when we had a question. Spotlessly clean place. Newly fitted room and brand new bathroom with spacious shower. Well lit bathroom, fluffy towels. High quality bedding with beautiful design. Absolutely quiet, we slept very well. Free tea, sodas and Whisky! Extensive breakfast with wide choice of classic and also vegetarian options. No wishes left open. Everything was prepared just for us, fresh and hot. The location is within walking distance of some good restaurants (The Kitchen, Mustard Seed, Rocpool) and the river. Approximately 15 min from main bus station (if arriving from airport) and main train station. We will gladly come again.

Breakfast incredible, room incredible, staff incredible. Felt like I was staying in a family members house. It was so personal and comforting. We booked 30 minutes before we arrived on a spontaneous trip after getting married in Gretna the day before. We stayed an extra night as we just felt so welcomed, peaceful and comfortable. Price was so reasonable compared to the service, food and comfort we received. Highly recommended. Location Is perfect. 7 minute walk to an incredible resteraunt called Encore, recommended by John, which we tried some lovely Scottish food.
