This house was in an excellent location close to the town centre and to tourist attractions. Very well stocked kitchen lovely and clean through out the house. The host is very nice and so easy to contact. Would highly recommend this place.

The suite was gorgeous. Beautifully presented and very clean. The little fridge with milk and water provided along with bowl of quick grab breakfast options and fresh fruit was a lovely touch. I’d booked short notice and Liz was so accommodating.

Excellent stay. Room was lovely and clean. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast the following morning was superb. The owners were lovely and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

The Abbotsford is a spacious Victorian property, refurbished in a contemporary style. It was featured as one of the top 10 bed and breakfasts in GB by Yours magazine.

Great and authentic place and so much value for money. It has a real Scottish charm and you feel at home when you enter the hotel. Breakfast is served in the café next to the bar with fresh fruit, croissant, juice, youghurt, musli and selection of sausage omelettes or whatever you would like😀 it is incredible. that the place can provide this value for so little money. Situated right a small town you may hang out with Scott people here.

What did we like at Callender House--everything! Lovely hosts, delightful room with a comfortable and impressive four-poster bed. Wonderful breakfasts with other interesting guests (always a plus with a B&B).It was very nice to have a space to sit for a drink or cup of tea outside the room in the evening. It was super convenient, being just steps to the main street, and yet it was a quiet location. Would definitely go back.
