Great location. Just above the canyon. You can go down the stairs and swim in the clear water. We would have stayed more if we could! + we were not satisfied with the first room given, so the staff quickly changed it to accommodate us. The food is great and overall vibes really chill.

We had a super pleasant stay in Balda, it has a special place in our hearts now! The host is so kind and her food is just amazing! The bathroom was shared, but always clean and the shower worked perfectly well. The location is quiet and peaceful. The hike to the waterfalls is easy and beautiful, you can start directly from the guest house. Lovely dogs and cats (we miss Loma so much!) Highly recommend!

It was really amazing place to stay. And the view around is just fabulous! The house is very clean, new, it has everything you need. The owner met us, was very friendly, showed us everything. The car could be parked right on the house's property. We really liked that there were no houses or other chalets opposite the house, there was only nature, you could have breakfast on the veranda and admire the mountains. The road nearby is almost invisible, you can hear cars passing by sometimes, but it was not very distracting. Martvili Canyon is 5 minutes away by car. We definitely recommend this property.

This really is an amazing place. For us it was the perfect location to spend some time relaxing, reading books, going for a swim, doing nothing and having outstanding food. Recommend to spend at least two nights. Perfect to recover after hiking in Svaneti! ;)

Top experience with lovely Georgian couple! We were arriving late and messaged that day asking if dinner was possible. Our sweet hosts agreed and had a home cooked meal waiting for us along with chacha. It was a little cold in the room so they sorted heat right away. Everything was impeccably clean. Quite night. The next morning they gave us a wonderful tour of their home and property followed by a thoughtful breakfast. They even gave us fruit preserves and Georgian wine to take on our journey :) If you’re looking for an authentic Georgian home stay, and incredibly caring hosts, highly recommend. It was an experience we will never forget!

It’s an amazing 100 year old house which still holds is history and roots and it can be felt everywhere. Rooms were absolutely beautiful and well decorated. We especially enjoyed the common area next to the winery, it had very cozy atmosphere and facilities for convenience. We also had a let with us, and we enjoyed the huge garden space as well!

Wonderful home in the peaceful countryside, surrounded by nature. Charming hosts provided us with amazing breakfasts, much of the food from their own garden. We only regret that we weren’t able to have dinner at the house because we had other plans.
