Beautifully clean with friendly staff. The owner Paul is a brilliant host. Clean pool, lovely self catering facilities. The two dogs are great too This is our second stay and we’re booking for a third. Near to Senegambia strip and facilities. I totally recommend

A really peaceful and comfortable place. A bit of a hidden gem I would say since you cannot find it on google maps. Its a unique blend of apartment, hotel, and bed and breakfast. The place had real proper airconditioning that made sleeping very comfortable though it was extremely humid and hot outside. For someone from the Netherlands, thats quite important. The vibrant colors and well-maintained garden created a serene atmosphere. I also loved the large patio on the first floor that provided a peaceful spot with a beautiful view of tropical trees. Perfect to hangout a bit, maybe read or just chill. I took a morning coffee there overlooking everything. Very nice. Most importantly the staff is really kind and helpful. That added to the positive experience. So, overall, a delightful and recommended retreat for those seeking a calm and welcoming environment within walking distance of everything.

The room was very spacious and clean. So was the bathroom. We were provided with soft towels and crisp clean bedsheets. Pillows were very soft and comfortable. You have a little basic safe to out your valuables in the room. We felt our things were very secure. But, the absolute best was our kitchen chef; he was amazing and sooo lovely and friendly. The food he cooked for us was amazing. You can have breakfast and lunch/ dinner on site. All the residence staff was great and very helpful. We utterly enjoyed our stay in the Pelican Residence.

The staff is kind and helpful. You can have a direct, almost friendly - family relationship with them. I gladly used public transport because it is much cheaper, and they were always able to help me get from A to B. You can also exchange money, at a completely correct bank exchange rate. Although I did not cook for myself - there is an opportunity to do so in the shared kitchen. The small lap pool is also nice if you don't want to go to the beach.

I recently stayed at Sinkiling House and had a wonderful experience! Omar and Dominique are very welcoming hosts who make you feel right at home. The house has great character and beautiful decor, and everything is clean. I loved the hot showers! Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of variety, and enjoying it in the peaceful garden was a highlight. The location is perfect—just a 10-15 minute walk to Bijilo Beach and only a short taxi ride to Senegambia and the main street. It’s a quiet, authentic neighborhood, making it a great escape. Overall, Sinkiling House offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend it!

The property looks very nice and the staff members are friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the fan made sleeping easier during hot nights. The property is located a bit away from the beach and the tourist area but I did not mind that. It was quiet and you have some cheap local restaurants around.

The guesthouse is leaded by a friendly and helpful family. The staff is really wonderful. The place is very central. It is situated at a good quarter of town and you can reach the beach in 10 minutes by walk. Also there a restaurants, shops and local transport easy to get. The guesthouse itself is in a quiet and beautiful garden and yard. Everything is very clean and amazing. If you want the boss lady cooks you a wonderful meal.
