Everything was perfect, the room (the castle suite with the terasse) was very clean and beautiful (as the pictures) with a very beautiful view. The host (Yanis) welcomed us very well and he is always available. He is always present to his customers and is very good advice for visits. It’s a very nice meeting. It was one of our best stay. From the minute we got out of the taxi the host (Irini) was so welcoming and helpful. She provided water on arrival which was a life saver as it was so hot. Irini also gave an information sheet on the island which covered the best places to swim and all the sights to be seen. Our room was very clean, the beds were big and comfy and the jacuzzi was definitely an essential. My friend and I didn’t even need to leave the accomodation to get food as Irini ordered us room service from nearby restaurants. Was the best experience I have had at any hotel in Europe so far.

We loved our stay here. The host is the most helpful man, he was so kind and caring and made our stay so wonderful. The location is great, next to a 24 hour bakery which is cheap and delicious and 2 minutes from the beach and lots of cool bars. The room is exactly as described. The beds are comfy and we would definitely stay here again Love Anna and Alfie

Eva was such a great host, very welcoming and accommodating. The room was large, clean and comfortable with good air con. The pool are was great, perfect to cool off, relax and enjoy the sun. It was only 10 minutes walk from town, but felt more peaceful and quiet which we enjoyed.

Aura Suites is located in Firostefani, 3.6 km from Volcano and features Caldera views. Every room at this guest house is air conditioned and comes with a flat-screen TV.

Our stay couldn’t have been better. We traveled overnight (a relatively short flight with a connection), couldn’t sleep, left home at 10 PM local time and arrived in Santorini at 6:30 AM local time. We got to the hotel around 7:50 AM, exhausted, and check-in wasn’t until 2 PM. We were welcomed by Georgia, who kindly offered us water and asked if we would like to have breakfast. The cost (€10 per person) was not included, but it was well worth it. At the same time, I was messaging with Aura on WhatsApp, and she graciously arranged for us to check in early as a gift. We had breakfast and then went to our room and slept for about 4 hours, which was essential for our first day on the island — we had booked a catamaran tour for early afternoon. When we were leaving for the tour, Katia, who handles the cleaning, kindly offered us two towels to take to the beach. We stayed in Santorini for 4 nights, and choosing Plastiras was the best decision. The room was comfortable and cleaned every day. The location is peaceful, just a 15-minute walk from the center of Fira and public transportation. Aura is such a lovely person — she made check-in and check-out easy, was always available in person or via WhatsApp, helped us with the car rental, and gave us great tips about the island. Georgia and Katia always had a smile on their faces and greeted us warmly every morning. We are truly grateful. These were exceptional days. We already miss it.
