There is a wonderful story related to the owner of the apartment where we stayed. Namely, as a primary school student I spent my summers in Marina, a small fishing village near Trogir and stayed either with my uncle Luka or with my cousin Ante. His two children, Ivica and Vesna, were my partners in play and on the beach! After finishing my studies at Split University, I set off into the world and spent my working period building ships at shipyards in Japan, Korea, China and Vietnam. Of course, I occasionally came to Croatia to spend my annual vacation, but I did not have the opportunity to meet Ivica and Vesna again! On this occasion, I arrived with my wife and upon her return to Korea, we decided to spend three days in Trogir, since it is very close to Split International Airport. While I was looking at available apartments in Trogir, a beautiful terrace full of flowers in the very center of Trogir caught my eye! Without thinking, I booked the studio apartment to which that beautiful terrace belongs. Of course, booking.com sent me booking details with address and contact number. The moment I dialed that number, the warm and cheerful voice of the owner of that apartment answered! It was Vesna......My delight never ended! Booking.com brought us back together. The time spent in Trogir with Vesna's family flew by like a whirlwind! The evening was reserved for stories and memories of the past time. Truly unforgettable moments for me and my wife with rediscovered family in the heart of UNESCO-listed Trogir.
