Hello everyone! This year, in February, we had the opportunity to stay at Villa Telaga Wana for 12 days... What happiness! When we arrived, after a very long journey, it was as if we'd arrived in a paradise on Earth; it felt like everything was part of a movie set: extremely welcoming and smiling staff, vegetation more luxuriant than you can see, birdsong, geckos, the sweet smell of incense and then these houses/villas with very atypical architecture... Once inside our house, boom, a slap in the face! Everything is so beautifully decorated in a natural, local style. The large windows let the light in throughout the house, giving us the impression of being outside, yet inside and still respecting our privacy. Extremely comfortable king-size bed, air-conditioning, small fridge, TV, beautiful, large bathroom with huge shower... The food... Mmmm... The food was delicious! When you have breakfast, you realize that some of the foods you already know taste completely different. Maybe it's because the food is healthier there. All these villas overlook this incredible swimming pool, which is perfect for the grown-ups as well as the little ones. I don't need to tell you about the water temperature, which is warmer than a normal shower. Imagine what it's like to swim in this pool and have Frangipani flowers falling from the tree. It's almost unreal. This whole place is one big garden. A garden in which you can find all the pretty tropical plants you buy in garden centers, except here they're XXL and of course everything's in bloom. And there are no mosquitoes! It's crazy but it's true! No mosquitoes!! From the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed, everyone who works there greets you every time with a big smile and a kind word. It's so peaceful...You can stay and chat with them because you can be sure they're going to teach you something very interesting about their culture. The location is top-notch.

This is such a special place, and like others have said, the pictures really don't do it justice. It's absolutely stunning - the pool and gardens, as well as the architecture. The owner and staff are all so friendly and ready to help if needed. There is so much love and care that's gone into creating this place. Luckily, we were the only guests at the time, so we had the pool to ourselves! The address that is shown on Booking is incorrect - the Google Maps address that shows the location as north of the main road is correct. The immediate surrounding area is peaceful and quiet. There are rice fields at the back that we walked through, which were nice. The other direction (a 5-minute walk away from the property) is a busy road - which seems to be the case in much of Bali. For us, it was a special place to stay for a couple of nights before heading towards the airport. The place is also open for photo shoots, which I was a bit worried about when I read it in the contract I was given to sign on arrival. But there was just a group on the last morning, which didn't really interrupt our stay. I think the staff will just need to ensure that the shoots don't affect the guests' experience of chilling by the pool, as a photo shoot has a very different energy!

Amazing pool view Great room Fabulous staff each one of them I have a broken Knee so every day without fail twice a day the staff the night watchman specially to the housekeeping guys to the reception helped me navigate the massive stairs so deeply touched The 5 people team in the cafe had all smiles and the chef outstanding The owner of the property and all its staff very young and smart and kind Highly recommend your stay They help you good connects with cabs , medicure, hair spa etc

The pictures does not do this place justice, nor the price. This being our 10th place to stay on our travel around Bali/Lombok, it was the most comfortable, with the cleanest room, excellent breakfast and idyllic surrounding. The nearby beach is gorgeous, with black sand and locals enjoying the surf sized waves. And the Marine park is walking distance, just across the road. It way surpassed our expectations from a low priced guest house, beating our best experiences from more pricy resorts. Bonus: Warung Legong is a nearby restaurant with excellent food in really nice atmosphere, which also offers free transportation and deliveries to the guest house.

Everything I loved about this place -true Oasis , beatiful garden pool everything clean and very curated, run by lovely Balinese family , rooms are spacious and bright in Balinese style.

I found it really hard to find a place to stay where you can actually work, so Bangbang was just amazing. Tommy is extremely nice and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable, with everything you could need, including air conditioning and a fridge. The views are amazing and the wifi works perfectly. I have nothing but good words for this accommodation. I recommend it and would come back for sure. I stayed there again and it was as amazing as the first time. Tommy is the best host helping you in everything. He kept my backpack while I was traveling around twice without asking absolutely nothing in return.

Beautiful, peaceful villa. Great pool, room, bed. I had my birthday there, and the owners made me a cake for my birthday, they are so kind and helpfull. You can feel the real magic in Ubud in this villa.
