Clean, cosy rooms, exactly what you need when exploring Ireland. The room is quite small, but a perfect size if you're just looking for a place to sleep and explore the area during the day. Clean bathroom, nice beds, more than enough 'supplies' like coffe & tea and even cotton swabs and cotton pads. Melissa and James are the nicest people, they gave same excellent advice on places to visit and made our stay excellent. We forgot some items when checking out, but they really kindly offered to send them back to us, how nice!

Absoluty amazing place to stay! First of all ~ Anne is amazing. She made me feel very welcome and even helped carring my heavy suitcase up the stairs. The room is gorgeous with lovely sea/marina view from the balcony. The bed was super compfy and the room bright with a read feeling of home. Lots of beautiful shared extra space (garden/coffe lounge/terrass) with compfy seating. It is right in the heart of Kinsale, but feels like it's own little sanctuary with birds singing and peaceful vibe. Anne's daughter Tara even gave me a ride next morning, as all cabs in the area where booked. I already planed on staying again and can't recommend this place enough. And if you have time, to stay longer than a night, take it! It is so much to see and around in this stunning area!

Long quay house was in a perfect location, right in the town centre. Staff were very helpful, friendly and also gave us great information on parking and the area. The young man that checked us in carried our bags to the room and was very welcoming.

Absolutely perfect two days. Excelent location in town center ( cheap parking nearby or if you're lucky, across the street ), friendly staff. Michelle is a star. Room was very clean and comfy. Best quality when compared to other places where we stayed in Ireland. Typical size for Irish B&B not built for big people, but in comparison with other B&B toilet and shower was a good size. Very good breakfast served in the cafe. All in all it was a very good experience and recommend for one night stay or longer.

I had a lovely stay ! The host was very friendly, kind and helpful, I could reach out to her at every time. The Cottage is absolutely beautiful and you could feel very homely. My room was also stunning and very homely and everything was super clean. And most importantly I felt very safe inside the Cottage and the whole area (you could also lock your room). In the room was everything you need , I could make myself tea or coffee and the water in the shower was hot and the bed was very comfortable. All in all I was super happy and I would always choose the Summer Cottage for a stay in Kinsale again. I can highly recommend it!
