We were delighted to be met by the person who runs St Martin´s Guest House personally. Due to mobile phone problems, we were very worried that communication about keys and our room would only be done digitally so it was a great relief that he was there personally when we arrived. (other landlords please take note). He was both helpful and friendly. We took his advice and ate in the evening at the nearby Dock Hotel, where we had the most delicious fish in all of our trip to Ireland.

The host and her father were just lovely. Very friendly and accommodating. Very doggy friendly! The rooms were spotless, fairly spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was quite good with many choices. Nice pub/restaurant within short walking distance. Great stay!

Stopped off on our way to cork, and we loved everything about our stay . From the moment we walked into the house and were greeted by our host , we knew we were somewhere special. From the comfy sitting room and the snug under the stairs to the bedroom, everything was perfect. Beautiful grounds and probably the best breakfast I've ever had. The staff is very friendly. We got any help we needed. The room was clean, we had our own bathroom and it was well equipped. There is a bar and terrace what you can use as well! Well located, close to the city center, about 10-15 minutes of walk.
