It was a nice and clean, very well maintained property. Breakfast was excellent! The mixed fruitjuice suberbe, not to speak of the magnificant view. From our balcony also we had a good view on the activities of the fishermen, and nearby there is an excellent café where you can eat.

We stayed at Johnson's home Stay as a family with our two kids. We were delighted to find our room clean and spacious with enough beds for everyone. Johnson was super helpful and nice. He helped as booking a houseboat sailing and really did everything he could to help including putting cartoons on his TV while we check in. Hands down we recommend this homestay..

As it's name it's right on sea shore. It's beautiful newly developed 2 rooms property. if you book 2 rooms then it's like your own private bunglow. The owner was very helpful. Direct access to the beach. In the early morning you can see few fishermen. after that it's your own private beach. If you like privacy and crowd free beach just go for it. Beach is super clean.

This is the perfect stay if you are looking for time in nature and the backwaters. Room is comfortable, clean, and with AC - so you can relax perfectly in the room. The balcony is great too and offers direct view on the littler river. The host Lizza is kind and fun, always there to help, Plan trips, cook food for you. The whole house is so beautiful, so you will enjoy having breakfast/dinner on the long table in the Main hall. This place seems suitable for anyone: alone-traveller, backpackers, couples, familys with kids. They have a garden to hang out too! And best part: its only 10sec walk to the starting point of your boat trip (Lizza will arrange)! Then you can discover lakes, big rivers, small rivers and village life in the backwaters. Ask Lizza for a TukTuk (Autoriksha) drive through the little streets through this area, so you will see more small rivers with plants, more village life, rice plantages and local life :) This is the place to be! Its perfect for taking a walk too :) Thanks Lizza!

A really cool place just by the beach. Some really good food options just arround the corners (breakfast, dinner etc).The owner is just the best host ever, fantastic guy, he will help you and give good advise to your questions. Good wifi. A great place if you want to visit Allepey for a good couple of days. One of the best home stays I been to in years.

    Convinient location, within walking distance to the beach and to the city centre. Jibu is a great host, helpful straight from the very begining of the booking. The canoe trip recommended by him was lovely, canoe fits into the smaller canals so you can observe the village life. And lunch (included in the price) was one of the best meals I had during my stay in Kerala. Overall, I had a great time, mainly thanks to Jibu and his friendy personality. Definitely recommend it.

    Jibu is an amazing host, he really went above and beyond to show me around and help me out with everything, very kind. I definitely recommend going on the canoe tour he offers to organise, it's a much more authentic experience than going on a houseboat, and much cheaper too. The room is very spacious and clean, and great location close to the centre and the beach. Highly recommend, thank you Jibu!

    Host was great and room was good value. He organised a canoe tour. I also did a houseboat and the canoe tour was far superior. Far cheaper at rs.1000 (including food). Canoe can fit down the smaller canals so you can quietly and respectfully observe the village life. Our group of 3 boats were the only people in the water. A truly immersive experience which is a much less crowded experience for tourists.. Houseboat felt like a heavily commercialised novelty
