Great location, very friendly people, clean rooms. Less then 10 minutes walking distance from the main Market. The quest house has a great garden, its family run. Every room has its own bathroom and hot water all day. Great deal !

I travelled in cold season, February, but good quality of A/C (DAIKIN!） worked well and hot shower was available for 24 hours, very comfortable stay! Guesthouse owner is supportive and informative. Due to low season, I was only guest for the first 2 days, but they cooked foods whatever I ordered and the guest house owner kindly arranged a car for me, appreciated!!

I have travelled all over the world, visited many many cities and stayed in all kinds of hotels. Generally I don't write reviews for hotels as I find them mostly fine, though nothing extraordinary to write about. However, I feel compelled to write a review for Rock Castle Residency of Leh due to the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. The room we got was fine - spacious, clean, and with a large comfortable bed. The balcony of the room had a superb view of the neighbouring hill and of the mountains further away. The guest house had a cute dining hall where the chef's dishes are very much like home cooked food - simple, fresh, tasty. But what delighted us most about the place were the gracious, warmhearted and helpful hosts. Family run and managed by individuals including Rigzin, Nordom and Prince, we felt absolutely at home during our stay. In fact, we had issues with acclimatizing for 3 days, and I had to take oxygen support during the nights. Rigzin and team helped us with everything, and without any hesitation accomodated our requests for extending our stay in Leh and then also cancelling the remaining stay without penalties when we decided to bail out and return to Delhi. They fed us delicious meals made from vegetables grown in their own garden, and even brought tea and meals to our room (against their house policy) when I was not feeling well. We weren't able to explore Ladakh fully this time, but if I ever come back to Leh I would most definitely stay at Rock Castle Residency only.

We had a truly relaxing stay at this lovely guest house. One of the highlights was the beautiful garden at the back, filled with flowers and greenery, along with a small fruit orchard with exotic fruits that added to the charm. It was so peaceful, away from the noise and crowds perfect for anyone looking to unwind. Waking up to the quiet surroundings and spending time in the garden was a real treat. Highly recommended for a calm and refreshing experience! Warm regards Amelia :)

If you look for a place where you can feel like at home during your stay in Leh, Puma House is the one. Run by a lovely host Jimmy who is super helpful and funny person. He give us all the insight, local tips and helped to organize things during our stay in Ladakh. It was also possible to leave some of the luggage during the treks in the area. The guesthouse is located just few minutes from the Leh Market, on the quiet street what I think is a huge plus. All the important things in Leh are also located walking distance from the house. It was also one of the cleanest statys we experienced im India. 100% recommend this place and we hope to return soon. Thank you Jimmy!

I had an amazing stay at Zambala guest house thanks to the hosts. They were extremely welcoming and friendly. The property is in a great location. They will cook you breakfast and dinner which is very tasty. A special thanks to Nawang for an incredible stay. If you visit Diskit, stay at Zambala guest house!

I loved everything about this place! Dolma is the friendliest and most helpful host. Comfortable bed and pillows, hot shower, great location - very quiet at night, big room, balcony. I’d definitely stay here again!
