We had a large, bright and airy room on the first floor - stairs to negotiate, and a great view. The room had an ensuite with views too! Such a nice change from staring at walls or inner courtyards out of hotel windows. There was a good table, two chairs, and armchair as well as a comfortable bed and room to hang clothes. We parked nearby the guesthouse (free) and walked into town for dinner. Great location but the hill is quite steep coming back up. Worth it for the views.

Great location, right at the centre of the town. The apartment was cozy and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and the wifi worked fine. There were provisions for making your own coffee. I would definitely return to this place.

Nicely placed, close to Akureyri and Mývatn. I had not gotten the key box code when I got there, but a quick call to the "reception" solved that issue perfectly. Thanks for the stay!

Loved the place. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The decoration was beautiful so it made it seem homey. Really like the old style of the houses. Easy check in and check out. Close to the city centre.

The rustic-style lodge is situated in a spectacular location. The staff is impeccable, super friendly, and helpful. Since we had to leave early, they prepared lunch boxes for us. I really recommend this.

Great location, decent size room and comfortable beds. Windows were overlooking the street however, no noises were bothering us neither from outside or inside. Beautifull building as well. Parking was free of charge from the evening (16:00 or 18:00 o'clock can't remember) until 10:00 in the morning, so it worked perfect for us.

Beautifully placed family farm. Very nice personnel. We were offered free upgrade of our room to the beautiful and comfortable apartment. Everything was perfect!
