Good location to stop before/after Landmannalaugar. It felt just like home at this place. I don't know why, but it just felt so warm, so relaxing.. when my fiance entered the room, she instantly said she could live there forever... friendly owners and very cool and cute dog. Very good place, close to a river and quite dark all around, can be a nice spot to see northern lights. The rooms are some old fishermen cabins very nicely restored, and the hosts were super nice! I would definitely go back there again

The self-service check in was very smooth and the instructions sent by the owner explained everything clearly. The room and facilities were clean and the atmosphere is very homey.
