United StatesThis was a great room in a very isolated part of Iceland. With a view out over the fjord and close to the local amazing hot pool it was great. Hardly anyone in town or in the hot pool. The birds were amazing!

We were the first Sri Lankans and probably the first visitors from South Asia to visit this place. Current owner has done some super transformation to the old house which was built over a century ago.

NetherlandsI loved the clean and comfortable rooms, and the shared kitchen was well-equipped and convenient for preparing meals. The location was excellent, close to the beach and the charming town of Sauðárkrókur. The views from the top floor were stunning, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Beds were comfortable. The only part missing was a place to gather with our family. We walked to a restaurant in town that was perfect (Retro Mathus) and had coffee/yogurt across the street in the morning.
