Beautiful place. We have fallen in love with the general design of the common area - so cosy and tasteful. I could sit at that table and play chess by the window with lovely view all our stay there! The place is sparkling clean and very spacious and there is a dinner just across the Guesthouse in case you dont want to cook yourself - we tried one of their pizzas ( very tasty, just like a pizza should be )

The sitting room had the most beautiful views. The loft had a mini kitchenette and extra bathroom, complete with shower. The main bathroom was beautiful and clean. The best part about this wonderful stay was the kind and informative host.

The location was remote and absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the mountains. There were horses in the pasture, sheep greeted us on the drive in and a mama bird was nesting on her eggs along the gravel road to the property. The neighbors had posted a stake in the ground to announce her presence and protect her from traffic. All this peace, yet we were very close to the main road and less than 5 minutes to the town of Hella where we picked up groceries and went out to dinner. Svetlana and her husband are absolutely lovely people. She had a Ukrainian speciality waiting for us on the table in the kitchen when we arrived, a plateful of the most delicious treats- like a cross between an American pancake and love. She offered to show us how to make this on the morning we checked out, bringing us into her kitchen and sending us on our way with a plateful of warm goodies and great stories we will remember. Her husband was equally charming and we would love to have talked to both of them for days. If you love dogs, be sure to ask to meet Stella. She's a good girl!
