We extended our stay for an additional day in Levanto, and found Amar. I'm really happy we came across it! The room was spotless, very spacious, well equipped (air conditioning, newly refurbished bathroom, very comfortable bed, among various other things). The staff very efficient and friendly. The location is really good: very near to the beach and the town's center, as well as conveniently located with respect to the train station (7-10 minute walk, mostly flat). I really recommend this place!

So I wouldn't exaggerate when I say Valentina and her cosy place was *one of the best hosting experiences I have had* so far. It is located only 1 min walk from Levanto beach, which is a real beach with enough space to enjoy and relax. The apartment is also just 12 min walk from the train station where you can take a quick train to all the 5 Cinque Terre villages. The room is wide, very clean, cosy, bed is comfy, nicely decorated and just gives you a vibes like it is your home. There is a shared kitchen with the other apartment in the property - and it is well equipped. And last, Valentina herself was super nice and helpful. I was traveling by myself and she gave me a feeling I am not alone.

It’s such a lovely place! Looks so much better in reality than in the pictures. It was very clean and everything what you may need was provided. The room is very spacious and the bed is comfortable. Everything was great. The Villa is in a quiet area and the location is also very good. The beach, the boat and the train station were close, it was a 10-15 minute walk to everything. There are also several restaurants nearby to choose from. Our room was very clean and nice and we liked the terrace outside. The host is also very kind, he tells you all the useful information. Upon arriving, our host made an effort to actually go outside to greet us. This type of hospitality continued during our whole stay, with the host being helpful by booking restaurants, planning trips, etc. The breakfast was excellent. We were served locally produced Italian delicacies by our host. The service was extraordinarily good. The room was beautiful and all you could wish for. We had a balcony and a beautiful view of the sea. The bed was big and comfortable. I would definitely recommend La Madonetta to anyone, especially couples.

The rooms are perfectly located right next to the sea, close to the train station and the main street. You have everything you need within walking distance. The rooms are large, fresh and have an amazing AC. However, what makes this place is the host. Andrea is truly the most incredible host I have ever met. We were very unlucky with flight delays and train delays, and the host was flexible and went out of his way to make it work for us. He let us check in super early and even picked us up at the train station simply as a kind gesture. Andrea really knows the area and will tell you how to make the most of your trip. We planned an entire day of exploring in Portofino and Camogli because of his recomendations and it was an incredible experience. If you want to explore Cinque Terre and Liguria and want the ideal place to start, this place and this host is the perfect choice. We will be back, for sure.
