We spent three nights in this apartment and couldn’t be more satisfied with our stay. Andrea, the host, went above and beyond to make our visit special-truly the best host we’ve ever had. The room was spotless and cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bottled water provided every day. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, which made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The location is perfect-just a 3 minute walk from the center and all the main attractions, yet peaceful and quiet at night. Breakfast was also excellent, offering a wide variety of options to suit everyone’s preferences, including lactose-free and gluten-free choices. Each morning, fresh homemade pastries were served, which was such a lovely touch. This was genuinely one of the most pleasant apartment stays we’ve ever had, and we absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Andrea!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The place is meticulously curated down to the smallest details, making you feel like you've stepped back in time, yet with all the modern comforts of a beautifully restored property. The breakfast was incredible, offering both sweet and savory options, all homemade. The rooms were immaculate and tastefully decorated, as were all the indoor and outdoor spaces. The location is perfect, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond to plan our entire vacation with spot-on recommendations for exploring Salento. Highly recommended doesn't even begin to cover it—if I ever return to Salento, there's no question about where I'll stay.

Our stay at the beautiful Palazzo Vigilarium was truly soul-soothing 🙂 The villa has been carefully renovated, combining the charm of the historic building with elements of contemporary minimalist design, thoughtfully refined in every detail — a true work of art in itself. The owners were incredibly attentive, always ready to advise and help whenever needed. Breakfast was excellent, and the facilities were luxurious, fragrant, and spotlessly clean. The village of Uggiano la Chiesa has a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. We especially enjoyed spending time on the rooftop terrace, from where there was a wonderful view of the lively street below and a breathtaking view of the church. We sincerely recommend this accommodation and truly hope to return one day 🙂

We loved this well-appointed villa, with everything you could need. Absolute tranquility as It is secluded and off the beaten track on the edge of a lovely town. Some amazing restaurant within 5min drive, and the most beautiful beaches within a short drive. The owner was wonderfully welcoming and very helpful during our stay, we can’t say enough about the professionalism and responsiveness. We spent a relaxing two week stay at Masseria Petra and the biggest compliment we can give is that we would love to return again and would recommend it unreservedly.
