Love the accommodation and the service. We had a welcome drink and snacks. Eventhough breakfast was not included when booking, we were given breakfast. It was a short but lovely stay.

Ostello del Castello is the one lodging that gave us the most pleasure during our long journey in many different hotels/holiday homes/etc. in the summer. The whole building has a history of 600 years, yet all the creature comfort facilities are new and work smoothly. In a typical old building like this, I would have expected the doors and wooden floor to squeak when you move around, none of those here! Everything works perfectly. We had the most peaceful night in many days. If Andrea tells you that he is like a piece of furniture of the hotel and always there, that is true. Actually he is more like the room-of-requirement in HP: when you have a wish, he is there at once to fulfill it, with a smile. The breakfast was so delicious, with all the usual stuff (cereal etc.) and unusally delicious stuff: scrambled eggs, joghurt, fruits, prociutto, cheese, home-baked cake, etc. etc. The whole house is decorated beautifully. Every corner you look, there is something cute to discover. I couldn't stop making photos! There is even a inner court with a playground. The kids loved it and could stay here forever.

Amazing location for views and host for super friendly, very helpful . They helped me with laundry understanding I was on the road for 10 days . I would recommend to anyone . Super clean , all supplies were there , I would recommend to anyone looking for authentic experience.

At the center, close to the train station.

We was there on May 24. The location is right next to the Bernina train station. The interior design of this property is even more comfortable than what appears in the photos. This property pays great attention to cleanliness. Breakfast was prepared in sufficient portions for us Asians, and was delicious.

I cannot recommend this property enough! The apartment was great with comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. It is obvious that the whole B&B has been created with lots of attention to details and love. Cleaning was provided each day and it was superb. The host was more than accommodating and provided us with great recommendations for places to visit and ways to get there. Even went the extra mile to find us an option to get to Livigno as we really wanted to visit the lovely resort. Location of the B&B is also great with a supermarket within 5 mins by car and Bormio based only 30 mins away by car. I really hope one day we can visit again.

Great stay, very romantic, I was with my mother so that was less romantic! We wanted to stay in Stazzona as it was where our family originally came from and it was convenient for our family history research. Francesco met us at the front and was very lovely as we arrived very early so he showed me around and took our bags and my mother and I were going to look for the old family home. We thought everyone had moved away but when I mentioned the family name he knew exactly who we were talking about and gave us directions to the house. He took our bags upstairs for us while we were out (they are VERY heavy!). He gave us information about the area, a taxi drivers’ name and number and said to contact him first if we needed to go into the town and he may be able to take us if he was available. We did use the taxi driver, and he was great also, even picking us up very late after he had finished work. The room was very spacious and beautifully set out, clean, had an electric jug and coffee maker as well as teas and coffee pods etc. The bed, sheets and towels were soft and clean and there was bottled water left on the fridge for us as well. There was also a little book on the coffee table with some details of the family businesses which was a really nice touch. Francesco was around when we needed anything or replied straight away on booking.com messages but was not intrusive. We had amazing views out of the windows and there was a great breeze going through the room. It’s a lovely area and really nice to walk around, there are a number of drinking fountains in the area that have the best drinking water and very cold. Even without the family connection, it’s a beautiful place to stay and relax, it was very peaceful!

The interior is really nice and the host as well. Parking lot is in the garage... the restaurant is 300m away on foot.. Everything was awesome! Recommend!
