It was absolutely amazing. Our room had a view of the river and a bamboo grove, you could chill there wearing the traditional yukatas provided, enjoying the scenery and the ambient sounds. The host was really polite and spoke perfect English. There were plenty of instructions provided regarding the suggested itineraries in the area and restaurants. There is an inside onsen where you can book a time slot for free A clear recommendation.

It feels incredibly authentic. For anyone staying here, I'd just say trust the process, the host is the sweetest little old man who hosts really fun karaoke evenings. It wasn't what we expected going into it but this place gave us some great laughs and memories for life.

A 3-minute bus ride from Hakone Yumoto Station, GuestHouse Azito is set within a Japanese-style main building with Japanese-style rooms. It features an annex, open since March 2017.

I stayed with my 10yrs old daughter. Easy access from the station yumoto, and very closer to many onsens. Staff is super helpful and friendly.

One of the best hostels i stayed in. It was clean and the people working there were so nice. They also have a wide selection of whisky and if your into that. I would 100% book this hostel again if i visit Hakone again.

I like our room, it was clean and nice with touch of traditional Japanese room and has a view of the garden and mountain. It is really relaxing trip for us in Hakone. The staff were very friendly and accomodating.

The owner is very sweet and caring - although he does not speak english, he is still able to communicate with guests well. The location is a bit difficult to reach on foot so he offered to pick us up from the nearest bridge (we got lost and he even picked us up from Gora Station!). Super lovely :)

Great location, 5 minute walk to the beach, 10/15 minute walk from odawara station. We came during a festival so the streets outside were a little noisy but very lively. Lots of food stalls and great atmosphere. Due to the cheap price, I didn't expect the property to be so well equipped. There is free tea and coffee in the kitchen, and even a theatre room. You can cook and there's a fridge. The property itself feels newly renovated. There is air conditioning in the room, hairdryer provided, shower fully equipped with shampoo etc. Great property.
