it's an amazingly beautiful house in old style, wind rattles the paper walls, fireplace in the living room, and you can imagine how life must have bee then, in a residential neigbourhood. I got the whole house on my own and soft jazzy piano music kept me company. The owner is super friendly, and gave me a lift back to the station. He lend me a bicycle for the 3 days, which is a great way of exploring a lot of temples and Dogo. Highly recommended!

Very spacious three-bedroom apartment conveniently located next to Matsuyama city station and a host of shops, cafés, and bars. The tram for the JR station and Dōgo onsen leaves from right outside and there is a friendly izakaya on the ground floor. Despite the central location, we heard no noise. There is art from local artists on the wall and it is clear that some thought has gone into the design of the apartment.

Everything! Stay here if you would like to meet alternative people and an extremely funny owner. We also got to eat incredibly delicious dinners with the hosts and other guests every night for a very cheap price.

A small family hotel run, our hosts were really friendly and helpful. They provided a great home-cooked breakfast. The room was not spacious but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location, just 3 minutes walk from the famous Dogo Onsen, was fantastic. We would love to stay again if we get the chance.

The place exceeded expectations. It's spotlessly clean, cozy and close to the onsen. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I stayed for a week and it felt like home. Shimpei is amazing and his recommendations were always good. 11/10
