We loved absolutely everything, the room was spacious, the view was breathtaking, and the beds were comfortable. The property has two onsens – the “left” one is larger, but both are fantastic and relaxing. The food was delicious, and the price was surprisingly reasonable. We tried both the Japanese and European breakfasts, and they were equally very good. Also a free shuttle to the nearest station and sights is offered in the morning.

A wonderful place, with beautiful hosts. Really did not want to leave. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean. Our hosts were such lovely people. They made us feel welcomed. Provided us with extensive information on the area and what to do. Plus they booked us into a local restaurant for dinner. Thank you and hope to see you in NZ soon.

Cosy, clean and friendly. It was the best place we stayed in Japan. We wish we were there for longer. The hosts were lovely. We are vegan and they got Soya milk for breakfast for us. They helped us find a restaurant. The hot springs are so relaxing. I felt very relaxed and at home.

It feels incredibly authentic. For anyone staying here, I'd just say trust the process, the host is the sweetest little old man who hosts really fun karaoke evenings. It wasn't what we expected going into it but this place gave us some great laughs and memories for life.
