We had a cooking evening with traditional japanese food and a morning walk to the different local areas in Morioka. The host made a great effort to introduce us to the authentic part of Morioka also by sharing all his favorite spots with us. We tried many local coffe places, and delicious local food in the area thanks to him. Cannot recommend this place enough. Good reasons for the numerous rules. It means my space is clean. After staying in a few other ryokans which are not of similar standards, I can better appreciate Tototo with the rules and quality chattels. Would come again and highly recommend this place.
