Very clean cabin with extremely kind and accommodating hosts! The cabin has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Very close to many attractions too. Even though we stayed during summer, there were no insects inside the house. A fantastic stay and we will definitely stay again if we have the chance!

So, I booked this trip last minute just wanting to go wild river swimming in Nasu Valley and didn't check out the listing too in depth before I booked it. I was so pleasantly surprised because not only was the place very clean, comfortable and perfect for the price but the hotel owner Kodai-san and his team were beyond kind and hospitable with me. They helped me go to the post office when I had an urgent matter to deal with and they took me to the konbini to get some food and water as I didn't have a car. I went hiking and river swimming every day and I even extended my trip 3 times because I had such a nice time. There is also a great onsen to enjoy after a day of hiking!

If you ever plan on visiting Nasu Animal Kingdom, this is the perfect stay for you. 15 minute walk to Kuroiso Station, which gives you direct access to Nasushiobara Station. The hosts are very kind and friendly. The holiday house is also perfect for families, it is a big and traditional Japanese home. Conbini's and restaurants are nearby. I hope to visit again next year, but with a longer stay this time!
