Hiro-san makes you feel welcome in his lovely home. The place was clean, quiet, comfortable and surrounded by nature, with in front of the house 300-year old trees. Hiro picks you up and drops you off at a nearby train station. I was in need of a new charger and he drove me to a shop and helped me get a new one. He’s really the nicest person! Highly recommend staying at COZY inn!

Great place if you want to stay in a traditional house but with modern facilities. We had everything we needed on site. The room was big as it was composed of 2 rooms that could be separated with panels to have a sleeping room and living room. The location is close to the station, close to a supermarket, etc. The host was so kind, and so helpful. At arrival she gave us some maps, pointed interesting spots and even drove us to the station to show us the bus stop for Nikko Wonderland for the next morning. We were offered an amazing breakfast, and also little gift when we left. 本当ありがとうございます！

Absolutely gorgeous host who made us a delicious and filling breakfast every morning - felt like we were family ! House is lovely and clean and very close to the station !

Super nice stay during our 3 weeks travel to Japan, one of the best. We felt really taken care by the owners of this hotel, significantly above any expectations. Very friendly and family atmosphere, very tasteful breakfast. It was great pleasure for the whole family to be there. Hope to come back one day.

The gentleman managing this facility is truly the ideal host. He was extremely helpful from the very beginning, providing us with suggestions on what to do. He had ready-printed instructions for each activity, which were extremely handy. Complimentary coffee, tea, and bananas are offered every morning. He even bought us sweets! Lastly, he has a small professional studio, and if you are interested, he will take and print out a picture for you for free. The location is very close to Tobu Station, where the bus hub and many rental car agencies are present. We went by bus for hiking but chose to rent a car on a rainy day. I can't recommend this place enough. One of the best experiences in Japan.

Location was very convenient and accessible, as I could easily walk from the station and bus stop under 5 minutes even with heavy luggage. Beds in the dorm were comfy and shower facilities were perfect. Probably my favourite part though was the people. Hosts Kimiko San and Suzuki San were very hospitable. They offered suggestions on the itinerary, as well as nearby onsens to try. My favourite part of the trip though was joining an English practice meetup at Picnikko, where I got to meet other Nikko locals. Everyone was very warm and welcoming and I had a lovely time:)

About a 20-minute walk from the Nikko shrines, Annex Turtle Hotori-An is situated next to the Daiya river and green forests. It features hot spring baths with river views.
