A very cozy place to stay. Remains home atmosphere. Very good place near the Castle and park. We stayed only for one night, but it was majestic. Recommend for all.

Friendly, cozy hostel in a great location, 5 minutes from Odawara Castle and Miyuki Beach, a bit more than 10 minutes walk from the train station. I stayed in the girls dormitory with 3 beds in total, so it was quiet and I could rest well. The facilities were clean, new bedsheets and towels were provided for free. The mattress and pillow were the most comfortable from my entire trip to Japan so far. The girls dormitory had a lock and the outside door to the hostel was also password locked at night, so I didn’t have to worry about my safety. The bar downstairs had a nice vibe and I enjoyed the beer and conversations with the host Ricky and a few locals. I’ll definitely be back if I get the chance to be around Odawara again.

Guesthouse Hatagoya is a beautiful place to stay. The room is very spacious and the house in general is super well equipped and beautifully decorated. I recommend this place 100% The host has been super responsive and kind. It was very easy to communicate

The hotel is amazing! Very clean and cozy. Staff is extremely polite. I read in comments that it was the best guesthouse/hostel travellers stayed whenever before. So, I can confirm this! It really is!

The staff is absolutely amazing. They are super sweet and help you with all your needs. The three menu options are all super delicious and at an incredible price. The bed is super comfortable and the room is quite spacious. In the first night I slept 10 hours and I didn’t even heard a sound. For sure I will return if I’m ever at Hakone again.
