Th community area was nice, easy way to meet fellow travelers. Good location and easy to get to ski hill. The staff were awesome, very friendly. I would stay here again.

Customer service in M lodge is amazing, they’re super friendly, accomodating and will help you out on local resources. Will definitely stay again. Short walk to the slopes, they’ll help you with access to Ski hire etc… beautiful. They’ve washing machines downstairs and all the information you need

While pretty remote it was very easy to access by public transports (only a 40 minutes bus ride from Datemombetsu station), the place itself is beautiful, and most importantly Yamada-san is probably the most helpful and attentive person I've met in Japan, she made us delicious ramen and helped us book a hotel !

Very nice sized room for the money. I was upgraded (at no cost) to a north facing room with a lovely view of the lake. The men's on-site public bath was comfy. The Japanese style breakfast each morning was tasty and very filling. There's a Seicomart next door. Great, peaceful location!

    Hosts and staff extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The pension was exceptionally clean and well maintained, as well as having very charming ambience. The breakfast was tasty and sustaining. Although shared, the bathroom and toilet facilities were always freely available and spotless. The hosts provided very prompt and efficient transport via courtesy bus to and from the resort area for skiing and restaurants.

    A clean, comfortable and friendly place to stay. We loved our host and found it easy to get to the ski field on the provided shuttle.Breakfast was tasty but we didn’t try dinner as we needed to book it in advance. The pension is also not a huge walk from the resort if one decides to take a stroll.

    This is a very cozy place to stay with the most wonderful hosts. Getting to the resort was no issue as we were dropped off and picked up quickly whenever required. If you want a quiet place to relax after a day on the slopes, this is perfect.
