Amazing experience. A souvenir store and cafe from the 1930s converted into a guesthouse. Clean. Comfortable. Excellent facilities including kitchen access and food items to purchase if needed. Bus from Shirahama Station and Tanabe Station stop outside. Walking distance to a cliffs, beach, supermarkets, and parks. There is alot of love given to running this guesthouse. We stayed 4 nights.

So glad to be able to stay at RAN hotel, the room is clean and tidy, an izakaya is across the road to settle for dinner (reservations required), and 600 meters away there is an ONSEN and RAMEN by the locals, the experience was just fantastic!

Alaise De Bale Shirahama offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 3.6 km of Shirahama Art Museum and 3.6 km of Kishu Museum of Art.

It was an out of the way quiet 70's classic hotel, had a non functioning dining room with funky furniture, the red wicker giant capital letters LOVE you entered through was novel and this featured in the headboard of the wide beds and the also the table and chairs. The facilities were tired but clean and comfortable. the Shirahama caves are across the road and you get to see the most amazing sunsets. The bus stop is at the door. There is also the Shirahama plateau down the road. Shirahama Beach is an amazing white sand surf beach. However all rooms are smoking but we went and bought scented sticks from Daiso and solved the problem.

The Japanese house is old, but absolutely charming. Every tiny detail reflects the love and care that’s gone into it. Mayumi’s chiffon cake at breakfast was so delicious, I’m still dreaming about it!

Out of the 100+ of places I've stayed the past few months, this is easily one of the nicest. Great host, warm welcome and helps out. The bed and house is very cosy and clean.

Situated in Tanabe in the Wakayama region, with Tanabe Ogigahama Beach and Tokei Shrine nearby, ICHIE Second Location features accommodation with free private parking.

The town is beautiful, there is also a nice beach right next to the hostel. ICHIE was the perfect accomodarion and the cakes are just delicious!
